Pembroke Premiere!

The Capital Chamber Choir will be taking a road-trip north on Hwy 17 to perform a concert in Pembroke, Ontario, the hometown of director Jamie Loback, on February 1. The programme will include my Annunciation, which the choir recently performed in its 2014 Christmas concert, NoĆ«ls modernes, at St. Joseph’s Roman-Catholic Church in Ottawa.

The choir will also be premiering a new work, The Delights of Paradise later this spring. This seven-movement work is an expansion of My Heart Was Cloven, a piece originally written for the Ottawa Bach Choir. Check it out:
